Juicy mediterranean spiced lamb patties topped with creamy feta cheese, a crunchy harissa infused cucumber salad. This amazing burger will become an instant classic.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 pound ground lamb
4 mini seedless cucumbers shaved into ribbons lengthwise with peeler
1 red onion sliced 1/4 inch thick
1 1/2 cup feta cheese
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon paprika
1 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon harissa paste
1/3 cup fresh mint, chopped
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
2 teaspoon cumin
4 hamburger buns
2 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper
Directions for spicy cucumber salad:
In a mixing bowl combine brown sugar and balsamic vinegar stir until sugar completely dissolves. Add harissa paste and whisk. Fold in cucumbers and onions. Cover salad and refrigerate.
Directions for lamb burgers:
Combine lamb, cinnamon, cumin, mint, paprika and salt in a mixing bowl. Divide lamb into four patties. Brush grill with olive oil. Cook burgers over high heat for about 4 minutes on each side. Serve on buns top with cucumber salad and feta cheese.
