It was an epic night on Ludlow street as Sweet Chick hosted the sequel project of Bun B and Statik Selektah Trillstatik. After the success of the original Trillstatik project released in 2019, the duo decided to give it another go, creating the entire project in one day while live streaming the entire process on Twitch. The whole process unfolded in a smoke filled room at Sweet Chick’s HQ, packed wall to wall with some hip hop’s most elite rappers.
Artists like Big K.R.I.T, Styles P, Nems, Pappose, Dave East and Paul Wall showed up to bless the booth. Each of them bringing their own dope flavors to the pot while master lyrical chefs Statik and Bun blended them together like Creole gumbo. Speaking of flavor it wouldn’t be a Bun B event without his signature Trill Burgers on the menu. The famous smash burgers that have gotten a thumbs up by just about every celebrity you can think of. Monster energy drink Siempre Tequila also provided tasty refreshments. And of course let’s not forget those fried og chicken sliders and nutcrackers from Sweet Chick. All in all it was a great event that started early afternoon and went into to the wee hours of the night. If you were lucky enough to be in the building you got to watch history in real time.
