Rule number one of tartar sauce never buy it in the jar. Always a bad idea! This zesty lemon tartar on the other hand will give any seafood dinner the yummy pairing it deserves.
Ingredients:
1 cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
2 1/2 tablespoons dill pickles
2 tablespoons shallots, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley
1 tablespoon fresh dill
2 teaspoon lemon zest
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon agave syrup(optional)
Directions:
Combine ingredients in a small bowl. Chill until ready to use.
