If you’re anything like me you’ve spent the last few weeks of the year eating heavy, drinking heavy and traveling frequently. The three things that will have you stumbling into the New Year feeling sluggish and and in dire need of a boost. The ginger, lemon, cayenne combo always does the trick for me. This shot will literally give you a natural rush will keep the flu off your back. If you have a sensitive stomach i suggest adding the orange or honey because this definitely packs a punch.
Ingredients:
3 inch thumb fresh ginger
3 inch thumb fresh turmeric
1 lemon, peeled
1/2 teaspoon cayenne powder
1 Cara Cara orange, peeled(optional)
1 teaspoon raw honey(optional)
Directions:
Juice ginger, lemon, turmeric and Cara Cara orange(optional). Stir in cayenne powder. If you need to sweeten it up add honey.
