Stay cool and a little buzzed all summer with these D’Usse lemonade popsicles infused with ginger syrup.
1/2 cup Lemonade
1/2 cup D’Ussé Cognac
1/4 cup ginger syrup
Lime thinly sliced
5 inche nub of ginger, peeled and sliced thinly
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
Directions for ginger syrup:
Combine ginger, sugar and water in small sauce pan over medium high heat. Stir gently until sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat. Let syrup steep for about 10 minutes then pour in a jar with tight lid. This can be done the night before.
Directions for popsicle:
Combine lemonade, D’Ussé, and 1/4 cup ginger syrup in bowl until completely mixed. Add one slice of lime to each popsicle mold. Pour lemonade mixture in popsicle molds. Leave 1/4 inches for space for expansion. Place popsicle sticks in mold and freeze overnight. Enjoy!!
