2 large sweet onions thinly sliced
8 chicken sausage
2 tablespoons butter
1 16 ounce larger beer
8 brioche hot dog buns
Spicy brown mustard
Directions
Place large cast iron pan on grill over high heat. Melt butter until its about to brown then add onions. Cook onions for about 8 minutes until they soften. Pour in beer and stir. Cover onions and let cook for 10 minutes over indirect heat. Oil grill grate and carefully place sausages on grill. Brown sausages on all sides. Once sausages are brown transfer them to pan with beer and onions let cook for 10 minutes. Remove for heat. Lightly toast brioche buns on grill. Serve sausages on brioche with onions and spicy mustard.
